Showcasing Hong Kong’s Excellence
Sludge Treatment Facility & Education Center
T · PARK was designed by internationally renowned French architect Claude Vasconi (24 June 1940 – 8 December 2009). The streamlined and wave‐form design was inspired by the surrounding sea and hills, with the best use of sunlight, natural ventilation and green roofs to minimise energy consumption.
Soey played a key role in project management, overseeing every aspect from lighting fixture design and detailed planning to installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration.
01. THE PROJECT
Demonstrating the city’s expertise in environmental technology
Situated in one of Hong Kong’s most remote locations, this sludge treatment facility and education center stands as a flagship demonstration of the city’s expertise in environmental technology.
Facing a densely populated city in China, the facility highlights Hong Kong’s leadership in sustainable infrastructure and advanced treatment solutions.
Lighting materials and finishes—ranging from programmable LEDs to tailored façade accents—were selected to enhance the building’s streamlined, wave-form design, inspired by the surrounding sea and hills.
